A man has been reviled and respected in equal measure after sharing his "Turbo " recipe.
Some were revolted by the mix, while others suggested the man "may be onto something" as he combined his pint with an unexpected ingredient. A now-viral post to /X showed the man pouring what appeared to be an espresso into a nearly full glass.
After the man racked up more than 4,000 likes on the post, PintsO'Guinness wrote: "He might be onto something." Others agreed that while breaking from restaurant etiquette, the man – seen chugging the caffeine and Guinness concoction – could have invented a brilliant new drink.

One user joked: "The common man’s espresso martini has been invented. Thing of beauty." Another added: "Espresso Guinness is a goated drink. Literally perfect." A third wrote: "I’ve tried this and it’s peak 1st drink for a night out."
Some were left asking for the return of a long-forgotten but much appreciated Guinness-branded beverage, with the "cold brew coffee beer" no longer sold. Some had fond memories of the tinned delight, with one writing that they "miss this". Another was less positive, writing: "Don't bother, it's disgusting."
A third added: "Guinness Coffee Brew was basically this and has disappeared without a trace unfortunately. Bring it back." One user was disgusted by the addition of an espresso to the Guinness pint but admitted the Guinness-flavoured coffee was a genius idea.
They wrote: "I am a long time Lover of Guinness and some will say this is sacrilege but I absolutely loved their coffee brew which is sadly now off the market so this works for me!" Some have even resorted to asking the official Guinness X account to bring back the cold brew.
One user wrote: "See what people have to resort to now you have stopped brewing the Cold Brew Coffee @GuinnessIreland bring it back…!" Another wrote: "Have had a couple of tins of the Coffee Guinness, not a bad drop!"
Others have suggested investing their cash in coffee stouts while on a night out, with one writing: "Coffee stouts exist already." But some were left disappointed by the amount of caffeine found in those products, writing: "Don't get much caffeine in them though, maybe some."
Fellow innovative drinkers are out there as one man recalled serving a Tia Maria and Guinness at a pub they used to work at. They wrote: "A guy I used to serve at a pub I worked at always ordered a Guinness with a Tia Maria shot, never tried it to know if it’s good or not."
