The most recent season of the chaotic E4 show has been even more shambolic than usual as numerous participants have flouted the rules. The show is filmed months before it is filmed, with an expectation the cast won't reveal if they have split with their partner or not until the last episode of the season airs. However, a series of spoilers were leaked by the cast themselves ahead of the final episode of the season - including accusations that scenes had been faked for dramatic effect.
Brummie bride Sacha took aim at the E4 show after a sneak peek clip showed her seemingly explode at another contestant. But she has argued that the incident has been edited to make her look bad. Hitting out via social media, she raged: "OMG already fuming with the edit for final vows... I can't write here now why I was crying but it was to do with them ruining a surprise I had for Ross. As if they've done me that dirty.... Absolutely disgusting they'd do that to me." Fans have also noted that Sacha and Ross unfollowed each other on social media weeks ago and he has been declaring his love for another woman.
Amy Kenyon-Brown has also accused the show of editing scenes to create a false narrative. While fielding questions from fans online, she was asked whether she and husband Luke got to choose which gifts they gave each other on dates. But she claimed: "We did yes! I got Luke this photo in a frame as it was our happiest time. I told him I wished we could go back to this moment. That didn't get shown unfortunately."
