My favourite hair styler has plummeted to low price for Amazon Prime Day

As a shopping writer and beauty fan I've tested many different products over the years. The one I've used the most, Revlon's , is now down to less than half price for Amazon's Prime Big Deals Day. If you're like me and the less effort something takes the better, then this might be the tool for you.

For me, there's nothing quite as stressful as the many different steps it takes to get ready and out of the door in the morning - especially if its a hair wash day. Earlier this year, I tried out Revlon's One-Step Blow-Dry Multi Styler and it's made my hair drying/styling routine so simple I still can't believe it.

The essentially takes away the middle man and means you can use just one product to get your hair from freshly washed to dried and straight or curled. This means it's perfect for people like me, whose routine usually involves a hair dryer, straighteners and a curling wand.

The multi-styler comes with three interchangeable attachments - including the root-drying concentrator, styling and volumising oval brush, and 360° vented airflow curler. I gave the a go and couldn't believe the results.

I usually find my roots take a while to dry, so I was impressed that the Revlon tool seemed to work quickly and efficiently. The 64mm styling and volumising oval brush attachment is easily swapped out and is light and easy to use.

Since I'm usually the type to dry my hair in the fastest way possible, it took me a little while to figure out the best way to use the oval brush. However, I picked it up quickly and found it simple enough to smooth and dry my hair.

The oval brush was ideal for getting my hair straight, but I prefer my hair curly so I was excited to use to 360° vented airflow curler. Since the tool uses airflow I found it hard to get the hang of it at first but soon found the right direction and timing for my hair. However, I did find that the curling tool snagged my hair more than I'd have liked.

Ultimately, the extra bit of time curling my hair was worth it - I'd spent less time on the routine as a whole thanks to how quickly the root concentrator and oval brush worked.

However, one person said: "Set comes without instructions. Quite heavy . Would be nice to have some more info how to use it (on wet or dry hair)."

Another wrote: "I have used another hot brush styler before and found that this Revlon one wasn’t as good at drying my thick hair. I found that I had to change the brushes multiple times to get my desired look which meant I wasn’t able to take it to use after swimming. It took longer to get my hair dry and it also made it more frizzy. Good product though."

The Revlon styler is currently on sale at for £36.10, down from £79.99, for Amazon's Prime Big Deals Day. Alternatively, a number of other brands offer similar multi stylers including the Revolution Beauty also has the for £31.99, and LookFantastic has the for £75.
