Netflix fans thrilled after learning true price of Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight

Once dubbed the Baddest Man on the Planet, Iron Mike is again decades after his retirement. While he may now be 58 years old, fans are keen to see what the former heavyweight champion of the has left in the tank as he goes up against his 27-year-old opponent. While many thought Paul was a laughing stock initially, he appears committed to learning the art of and boast a record of 10 wins from 11 bouts - his only defeat coming at the hands of .

While the Tyson vs Paul fight has raised eyebrows, it's sure to still be keenly watched by viewers around the globe. And the true cost of the bout for fans will come as a surprise.

The show is set to begin at 7pm local time in Texas. Tyson vs Paul has been sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and . Among them is the round length, with each of the eight rounds only being two minutes long. Elsewhere, the pair will wear 14oz gloves. Normally for a professional heavyweight fight, the combatants would wear 10oz mitts which provide much less padding. The use of 14oz gloves is surprising given Tyson and Roy Jones Jr wore 12oz ones for their exhibition bout four years ago.

As it is a sanctioned fight, knockdowns and knockouts are permitted, unlike in the exhibition contest between Tyson fought Jones Jr. Both Tyson and Jake Paul have vowed to knock out the other. There will also be three ringside judges in case the bout goes the distance.

Elsewhere on the card, Irish boxer Katie Taylor faces off again against America's Amanda Serrano as the pair try to be named the undisputed junior welterweight champion. Mario Barrios will also take on Abel Ramos for the WBC welterweight title.
