Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo lauds owner Evangelos Marinakis' work in enticing Edu Gaspar to leave his post as Arsenal's sporting director to head their network of clubs.
Earlier this week were as sporting director. The 46-year-old has worked in tandem with since first joining as technical director in 2019, using his charm to secure the transfers the manager needed to turn the club into Premier League title challengers.

Edu is set to take up prominent position of leadership within the multi-club model - a fact Nuno is excited about and what it means for his club.
"It is good," he told the press via . "Starting from the owner, the ambition to grow and improve the club makes us all aware that we have to give our best - starting from us on the pitch, the players, the staff working for the players, creating the environment and the best they can have so they can deliver on the pitch.
After two seasons of scraping top-flight survival, the City Ground has witnessed some turnaround in the opening months of the season with their team sitting third - even ahead of Arsenal - after 10 matches.

Despite this grand upturn in form and the discussions taking place now that a man of 's stature has turned his back on the Emirates Stadium to join their project, Nuno was also quick to add a reality check to his response.
He continued: "Ambition is good. Demanding is good. But we cannot get away from our track, so I insist we have to remain humble and realise we haven’t achieved anything. I don’t just say that, it is the truth.
"We have to keep going. But having this desire to improve is what moves us forward."
