Oasis are exploring the world of 3D virtual reality, meaning the duelling duo really could Live Forever.
and Gallagher have filed paperwork to secure trademarks that would cover “virtual music group” and “avatars”. It means they could do an ABBA-style show, with the brothers beamed on stage in digital form to belt out hits like Cigarettes & Alcohol and Wonderwall.
Earlier this year Noel said he'd be "bang up" for an hologram show - after going to see 's offering. ABBA Voyage, launched in 2022, has holographic avatars of Bjorn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Faltskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson singing crowd favourites such as Dancing Queen and Waterloo.

A source tells us: “The Oasis reunion is the hottest ticket in town so it’s no surprise Liam and Noel want to capitalise on that. Having their own avatars would mean they could tour forever and keep on raking in the cash – and they’d be giving the fans exactly what they want.”
Liam and Noel will set out on their huge reunion tour next year. It is estimated it will generate more than £400million, with the brothers making at least £50m each. The band also recently trademarked a wide range of Oasis merchandise including clothes pegs, decorations, deodorant and moisturisers.
Liam, 52, and Noel, 57, sent fans into a frenzy in August when they revealed they had put their feuds behind them to perform together again after a 15-year break. In addition to gigs in the UK, , , Mexico and , it has been reported this week that the band is set to announce further dates across the globe. They are expected to include shows in South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Chile and Argentina. The tour starts in Cardiff on July 4, then will head to their native and London’s Wembley stadium – where they will return for extra dates in September.
Noel previously said he would be “bang up” for an Oasis hologram show after watching ABBA‘s Voyage concert. Speaking on Matt Morgan’s podcast earlier this year, he said he loved the show - which brings the Swedish band back looking like they were in their 70s heyday.
“I went to see that Abba show. It’s f****** unbelievable. It was very, very impressive. I genuinely thought at one point that the people on the stage, which were holograms, were… they looked that real that I thought they were actors, like playing. The way they walk to the stage is so realistic. I was very impressed by it to be honest but yeah, if anybody wants to do an Oasis one, give us a shout. I would be bang up for it."
