Oasis urge fans to 'take cover' as they announce even more 2025 reunion dates

Oasis have announced

Warring brothers and have put their feuds behind them and sent fans into a frenzy this year when they confirmed they would be reuniting. Now, after a string of UK and North American tour dates – the pair are heading down under. The mega news comes almost two decades after Oasis last performed in .

Speaking about the shows in Sydney and Melbourne, Liam and Noel said: "People of the land down under. You better run – you better take cover. We are coming. You are most welcome." Fans have since taken to social media to share their excitement with one penning: " heading Half The World Away."

"Might have to plan my first-ever trip to Australia around Oasis," said a second. Meanwhile, a third commented: "Tickets are a need, not a want." Another typed: "I've been waiting so long for this. It's something I never thought would happen. I know there are countless thousands, even millions, that feel the same. What a feeling. It's actually happening. Oasis are back and are heading this way."

"Some might say this leg of the tour will be half the away," joked another. Oasis will be performing at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Friday, October 31 2025, and a show at the Accor Stadium in Sydney on Friday, November 7, 2025. Pre-sale registration is open now until 8am AEDT on October 9. Meanwhile, General tickets for Melbourne are released at 10am AEDT on October 15, with Sydney tickets being released at 12pm AEDT on October 15. Speculation had been beginning to mount ahead of the announcement, with a snap of Liam and Noel being plastered on billboards across the Aussie cities.

The billboard read: "Australia: It's your shout!" Oasis shared pictures of the billboards on social media and added: "TUESDAY, 8AM AEDT." The huge announcement comes after the original UK dates sold out almost immediately, with sites such as Ticketmaster and See Tickets crashing due to the unprecedented level of demand. Over 10 million fans from 158 countries had joined a virtual queue to try and get their hands on the tickets.

Despite calling it a day in 2009 following a bust-up between the two brothers, Oasis remains one of the biggest streamed bands in the world, surpassing 27 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. This is an eyewatering 50% increase since they announced their comeback.

In total, they have amassed an eyewatering 12.5 billion streams across all major platforms. According to The Sun, Liam, 52, and Noel, 57, are set to cash in on their long-awaited Oasis reunion with an extensive line of merchandise, including deodorant, clothes pegs, decorations and moisturisers. "They have big plans for merchandise. Millions of people wanted to get tickets to the shows and Oasis know they'll also be splashing the cash on branded stuff. The new trademark is for Oasis Live ’25 and covers everything," the source explained.

It was estimated that the tour will generate more than £400million, with Liam and Noel making at least £50million each.
