Our Farm Next Door star Amanda Owen has revealed her concerns about her nine kids ditching the farming life as they grow up.
The More4 series features Amanda and Clive teaming up to leave a lasting mark for their brood by doing up a run-down farmhouse not far from Ravenseat Farm.
Previously, the clan's day-to-day escapades were shared with the nation on Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm, which wrapped up in 2022 after Amanda and Clive called time on their 22-year marriage.
In the recently concluded Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, fans watched the family's mission to transform Anty John's farmhouse into a dream home.
Their journey to revamp the place was filled with the usual farm troubles, building delays, and worries over Clive's health, reports .
As the makeover of Anty John's comes to a close, Amanda got her tribe together for a poignant snap in the latest instalment of the More4 programme.
"I wanted to get all the family together, to get a photograph standing on the hillside with Anty John's there in the background," said the mum-of-nine.
"Six girls, three boys. All looking roughly tidy and ready for a photoshoot. And we've even got a little bit of decent weather. It's great to have the whole gang back."
This photo means a lot to the Yorkshire Shepherdess, especially since some of her eldest are on the brink of flying the nest.
Amanda candidly spoke about the mixed feelings, remarking: "We'll see the kids growing up and going their own way and we'll also see the house evolving as well.
"Suddenly, (they) want to head towards civilisation. They want to go to places where the phone works and where you can order a Deliveroo. Y'know, living the high life."
However, the farmer remains convinced that her children will crave the rural life once the allure of the city "wears a bit thin".
She commented with a grin: "You realise that it's actually quite fun riding horses, slobbing about in wellies and they all come back again. You can have the best of both worlds. And I think that's great!"
Raven, Amanda's eldest daughter, acknowledged that gathering the entire family has become "quite a difficult thing" because of the varying ages among her siblings.
In another moment from the last episode of the series, Clive divulged his eagerness to reduce his farming responsibilities and hand the reins over to his sons.
As he watched Miles tackle lawn mowing for the first time, Clive shared: "They're grown-up these lads, and it's good for them to take over these jobs. Miles is a young man now so, the mowing is for him.
"The kids grow up and become men. I am getting older, and I am not as strong as I used to be so yeah, it is good that these young guys take over."
He concluded: "It's time to pass on the baton and let them do more and more and that is how it is. I am here to watch over them and annoy them and we will get there in the end."
