Peter Andre has given an update on his daughter Arabella as she marks a new milestone. The tot, who was born in April, is turning six months old this week and the doting dad has marked this time with her “amazing”. Peter, 51, and Emily, 34, became parents to little Arabella Rose Andréa on Tuesday, 2 April and have since been keeping fans updated ever since the tot was born.

He says: “Arabella is six months old this week and I’m so grateful I’ve been able to spend so much quality time with her and Emily recently. It’s been amazing just to be there with Emily and go through the whole process together. She’s now at the stage where things change, she’s pretty much sleeping through the night and is ready to start weaning. Adding an extra child in the mix is a big change, a beautiful but hectic one. The family actually feels complete now with the baby, it’s perfect.”

After Arabella was born, 51 year old Peter explained that he and Emily were having difficulties coming up with the perfect name. It wasn’t till one month after her birth, Peter, who is also dad to Junior, 18, and Princess, 17, with ex-wife Katie Price, and Emily announced they'd chosen to name their daughter Arabella.

The 51 year old also revealed who the tot looks most like - and it's neither of her parents! Peter said he can see the resemblance between Arabella and one of her siblings. He said: "I'm beginning to see some resemblances between Arabella and Theo; she certainly shares some of his features.” Peter recently took to his column to explain why he won't be showing Arabella’s face anytime soon, due to the powers of AI.

“Arabella has a cute little triangle of hair at the back of her head and it is so adorable – I posted a picture on Instagram,” he said. “I can’t believe how grown up she is now. Like Millie and Theo, it’s unlikely Emily and I will show her face on social media. AI, for example, can be a scary thing in regard to stealing children’s identity and we don’t know enough about how these images can be used in future."

"This didn’t even seem possible when my older two were young. It seems that the last two or three years has taken AI to a different level –and not always in a good way. That aside, Emily has always made it clear she doesn’t want their faces shown and I respect that. I just get excited and want to show everyone how cute they are.”

Shortly after Arabella's birth, In an adorable statement the 51 year old explained that because it "could" be their last baby, "I'm savouring the time. Emily, as always, is amazing and is an absolute supermum. She, like many mums, never stops to take time for herself. It shows how dedicated mums are, but I’m sure many mums would agree with me when I encourage her to rest as much as possible, too."
