Hours after it was announced that Trump had won the election, Uncensored host Piers told his followers on X, formerly known as , that he had personally spoken to him. He said in a tweet on the platform that Trump "sounded understandably weary but also utterly elated".
Piers wrote in a tweet: "Just spoke to President Trump and congratulated him on the greatest comeback in political history. He sounded understandably weary, but also utterly elated by the massive scale of his victory. 'This is quite something, right Piers?' Yes, Donald.. it is!"

The post came just two hours after Piers congratulated Trump in a previous tweet. Alongside a photo of them stood side-by-side, he wrote: "Congratulations @realDonaldTrump on the greatest comeback in political history. A testament to your resilience, mental strength & never-give-up mentality as your enemies tried to kill you, jail you & brand you the new Hitler. Good luck in your 2nd term. Unity > revenge!"
Many people expressed support in response to Piers' tweets, though many people are also disheartened by the result of the election.
