According to experts, bleach is an effective solution for removing moss from patios. Simply mix bleach with hot water in a 10:1 ratio, pour over the affected areas, and scrub with a thick-bristled outdoor broom.

Rinse with fresh water to wash away the moss and bleach mixture. If you'd prefer a less harsh method, white vinegar is a good alternative.
Mix equal parts vinegar and water, apply evenly to the patio, wait 15 minutes, then rinse off any excess. You'll need to wait a few more hours for the vinegar to kill the moss, reports .
expert Fiona Jenkins from is also a fan of the water and vinegar trick for tackling stubborn moss on paving. She revealed: "If you have stubborn moss marks on your paving, consider using water and vinegar to remove them."
She also recommended another pantry staple – baking soda. Fiona advised: "Baking soda works well on moss, however, it works best on dry days. Sprinkle some baking soda over the affected area and leave it overnight. Then, sweep away the remnants the next day."
