Return to Paradise is set to bring a fresh twist to the Death in Paradise format, this time taking viewers Down Under to but when can we expect the show to hit our screens?
Death In Paradise's first spin-off, Beyond Paradise, saw Kris Marshall return as DI Humphrey Goodman, taking on detective duties in Martha's (portrayed by Sally Bretton) hometown in Devon.
Now, another spin-off is in the pipeline, this time centring around London Metropolitan police officer DI Mackenzie Clarke (played by Anna Samson), who finds herself compelled to return to her Australian roots. However, not everyone is thrilled about her homecoming.
Return to Paradise release dateThe first trailer for the new series was released during the summer, leaving fans eagerly anticipating its debut for months.
Fortunately, the wait is nearly over with Return to Paradise set to premiere on Friday, November 22, at 8pm on One and BBC .
Return to Paradise castTaking centre stage as the show's lead, DI Mackenzie Clarke, is Home And Away's Mia Anderson actress Anna Samson.
She has also appeared in Winners and Losers, Dead Lucky and Wake in Fright, among others.
Colin From Accounts and Austin actor and presenter Tai Hara plays Mackenzie's ex-fiancee Glenn, who she jilted at the altar, while Ted Lasso star Lloyd Griffith takes on the role of DS Colin Cartwright.
Other cast members include Wentworth's Celia Ireland, Total Control's Catherine McClements and Gold Diggers' Aaron McGrath.
Death In Paradise's Ardal O'Hanlon is also set to make a cameo as DI Jack Mooney, Mackenzie's boss back in London.
Return to Paradise episode countReturn to Paradise will comprise of six episodes with the entire box set available to watch from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
For those who aren't keen on binge-watching the series, a single episode will be released weekly on BBC One every Friday at 8pm.
While the show is only just premiering in the UK, viewers in Australia had the chance to enjoy the drama back in September when it debuted on ABC and can now be streamed on ABC iview.
