Ryan Gravenberch names Liverpool teammate who could have pipped him to Player of the Month

Ryan Gravenberch has been named the Reds' Player of the Month for September — and he has to the prize.

"If you win the Player of the Month it’s really nice. It’s also my first one, so I’m a little bit proud as well," he told Liverpool's . "Obviously we have a really good team, really good players. had four goals in September, so I think it’s hard to choose between me and him, but I want to thank the fans that they chose me."

On his best performance, Gravenberch said: "I think I had good actions against , but I will go for the game against . I think that game was a really good team performance, but also individually it was really good."
