Apple TV+ series Silo finally returns for season two after ending on a shocking clifffhanger.

Adapted from the Wool trilogy by Hugh Howey, Silo sees engineer-turned sheriff Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) leads a community living in a silo buried underground.

They are sheltered in the silo to protect them from a toxic and deadly outside, but the origins of the silo are unclear and how long they have been there for.

What is the plot of Silo season 2?

Silo focuses on the 10,000 people living on Earth who live in a silo that is miles deep. The silo protects them from a toxic and deadly world outside, but the origins of the silo are unclear.

Residents who try to find out about its purpose face dangerous consequences as engineer Rebecca Ferguson soon uncovers deeper mysteries.

Season two of Silo will continue from the shocking season one finale cliffhanger that saw Juliette discover that the world outside was indeed toxic and there were numerous other silos.

The series will cover what this revelation means for Jules and the others in the silo. Season two will continue to explore the background of the silos and why the outside world is toxic and inhabitable.

There will be ten episodes in Silo season two. Each episode will be released weekly on Apple TV+.

What is the release schedule?

Episode one of Silo season two will be released on Apple TV+ on November 15, 2024. The exact release time has not been confirmed yet, but they usually release new episodes at 12AM midnight PT/3:00 AM ET.
