Sky rivals BT and Virgin Media with 'lowest ever' broadband price and that's not all

If you want faster broadband speeds without it breaking the bank Sky might have the answer. The Internet Service Provider (ISP) has just launched an unmissable new deal that's offering rapid 500Mbps download speeds for just £29 per month. That's Sky's 'lowest ever' price for that blisteringly quick service and it's also cheaper than many of its rivals including BT and Virgin Media.

As a quick guide, 500Mbps downloads will allow you to whizz a full HD movie to your TV in around a minute - that's almost 10 times faster than the current UK average. The deal even lasts for two years.

Along with slashing the cost of those ultra-fast speeds, Sky has also confirmed that it has now implemented the so-called "One Touch Switching" process.

For those not in the know, One Touch Switching is new industry-wide initiative from Ofcom which is aimed at making the process of transferring suppliers a lot easier for consumers.

In fact, all you should need to do to make the move is ring your new ISP and accept their deal. Everything else should be taken care and you don't even need to tell your current provider you are leaving.

Sky says it is fully committed to One Touch Switching and has even launched a dedicated 24/7 switching support service to help answer queries and sory issues.
