First-look pictures of Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt in their new movie The Electric State have been unveiled.

The upcoming Netflix sci-fi movie set in the 90s has been directed by none other than the Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony, who have previously helmed the Marvel movies.

The movie follows a young woman who teams up with a robot in an effort to try and find her missing brother.

In the first-look stills, Millie can be seen sporting curly blonde hair while Chris looks completely different in a shaggy mane and goatee.

In another image, the leading pair appear to be hiding from something or someone as they look on tensely.

Millie and Chris play Michelle and Keats respectively, and are joined by fellow actors Ke Huy Quann, Stanley Tucci, Woody Norman, Martin Klebba and Giancarlo Esposito in the film.

It was first announced back in 2017 when the Russo brothers acquired the rights to the illustrated novel by Simon Stålenhag.

After the pictures were released, excited fans rushed to share their enthusiasm for the upcoming film.

One Stranger Things fan expressed: "Eleven with a bunch of MCU actors?! YES PLEASE!!!"

Another person wrote on Instagram: "This movie will be 11 out of 10," with a fire flame emoji.

Somebody else commented on Reddit: "I cannot wait for this. I hope it does the artist justice, a role model my whole life."

While another user added: "The visuals look intriguing, and the plot sounds like it has a mix of adventure and heart. I’m excited to see how the Russo Brothers bring this story to life!"

Millie previously opened up about her character Michelle and if she had any similarities to Eleven from Stranger Things.

She told Vanity Fair: "We’re technically both the same age, so I feel like it was just: What are moments that I wouldn’t show my weakness? What are moments that I would? And I just played with that.

"I really want her to show that she’s made of stone because I want that to be the perception of who she is.

"But actually, as you get to know her, she softens and she warms up. And I tried to implement as much of my own experiences into her as possible."

The Electric State will premiere on Netflix in March 2025.
