Strictly Come Dancing fans were left convinced that one of the professionals had a sour reaction to show events over the weekend.

In the end, it was Opera singer Wynne Evans and his dance partner Katya Jones who left the show on Sunday night after losing a dance off against Gladiator athlete Montell Douglas and her dance partner Johannes Radebe. On Monday, during an appearance on spin-off show It Takes Two, Wynne was overcome with emotion as he spoke about his time on the show.
During his exit chat, he was joined by Jamie who said: "Who’d have thought this man and me would become best mates? It's not going to be the same, but I’ve got a friend for life. He's amazing this man."
Katya then added: "This is what Strictly is about, no one is going to remember the scores or the comments you got. It’s the friendships they create on the show and genuine relationships. I’m so glad you had each other." Wynne then unexpectedly burst into tears - leaving show host Fleur East scrambling to find tissues to give him.
After his exit on Sunday night, the Go Compare star said: “It's been wonderful, I’ve got to say. I feel like it's what Strictly is all about. If I can come and do Strictly and last until week nine, then anybody can get out there and dance and have a brilliant time. Strictly is such a brilliant family, such a precious family, that I want everybody here in this room and at home to look after it for the generations to come because it is a wonderful, wonderful thing.”
