Strictly Come Dancing star Toyah Wilcox has shared a sweet three-word message from her professional dance partner Neil Jones's fiancee, former Love Islander Chyna Mills.

Posting on her Story, Toyah shared a post from Chyna in which she made comment on their performance during Movies Week on the dance competition. The 66-year-old former pop star is one of the favourites to be shown the exit door from Strictly this week but Toyah continued to celebrate the positive messages that she was receiving.

Chyna shared a snap of her television on which Toyah and Neil were full of smiles after performing their Little Mermaid-inspired routine. She captioned the photo on her Instagram Story with: "Love you guys [heart emoji]".

There is a belief among Strictly fans that show bosses have been setting Toyah and Neil up for a fall and have spotted a clue that indicates that they want the pair out of the series. For the second week running, they have been scheduled to dance in the "death slot" which is the second pairing to show their moves on the dancefloor.

Fans of the show have said that traditionally this is the slot that has seen the most couples lose their chance to compete in Strictly. It almost proved to be the case last week as Toyah and Neil were left in the bottom two on the leaderboard and forced into a dance-off with Tom Dean and Nadiya Bychkova.

They narrowly beat Tom, meaning that he was the first to leave the series but fans of the show will find out tonight whether Toyah's samba will be enough to see her through to the third week.

The singer was not going to go quietly and when speaking to , Toyah said that she going to fight for her right to continue in the competition: "Everyone was completely shocked. Tom is an Olympian, but when it comes to a dance-off I’m going to give my best against anyone. They look at a tiny little 66-year-old who is either the same age as their mother or their granny - I fully understand that to young people I’m incredibly old, but I don’t behave like that."

She added: "I also like that some younger people might not know who I am, because they might not know how strong I am." Many fans of the competition were outraged to see make Toyah to the next round as she was the favourite to leave the show.

Taking to social media after the results show on Sunday, Neil shared snaps of himself and Toyah on the dancefloor, and wrote: “Ladies and Gentlemen when you ask me how my Saturday night went."

Standing up for his celebrity co-star, he added: "I just want to say it’s week 2 @toyahofficial is not a dancer but every day she’s improving, each day I tell Toyah, it might not be perfect but you are improving and at the same time you are not losing who you really are and that is what @bbcstrictly is all about."
