Strictly fans slam Katya Jones' statement as they spot simmering Wynne feud is still ongoing

Fans of are still convinced there is huge tension between and her dance partner .

The pair were spotted on camera having a , including the Welsh singer, 52, seemingly caress the stomach of his partner. However, the scenes were quickly played down by the duo who labelled any . Despite the denial, fans of the show remain adamant there is more to it and believe there was clear tension on show during the results announcement.

Prior to the results show, the 35-year-old Russian dancer claimed the pair's actions were a joke. "I need to make something crystal clear," she began. " The hand incident that happened on Saturday night was a very silly inside joke between Wynne and I. So even the idea that it made me feel uncomfortable or offended in any way is complete nonsense. It’s actually absurd."

But despite the comments, fans believe her reaction to Wynne's conversation with host on the results show tells a different story. As Wynne told Claudi he was surprised they got through to another week, Katya remained stony faced. She even appeared to wince at one stage as the opera singer spoke about his performance.

Taking to social media, fans shared more comments surrounding the pair's body language. One user claimed: "Oh dear Katya can barely disguise the dislike on her face for Wynne," while another suggested: "Oh the tension between wynne and katya, they will 'leave this week for personal reasons' very uncomfortable to see."

Despite the claims by fans, Katya once again stood by her dance partner online. He shared a post on which included action shots from the duo's latest performance and thanks those who were supporting him.

He admitted he "can't wait" to get back on the dance floor and Katya heaped praise on him, calling him "incredible". She added: "Very very excited for our next dance."

She also shared a similar post saying Wynne "make me smile and laugh" before claiming he "takes the dance to another level".

While stars such as liked the response, others weren't so please. One user wrote: "Love you Katya. The body language in the result show was off with you both. Hope you’re ok." Another added: "U are a very talented lady. All is not right between this partnership. Hope ye muddle through it. U don’t need to be always pretending that things are so perfect, as we all know that doesn’t reflect real life. Strickly shudnt always portray a fairy tale scenario [sic].

The man who is famous for singing the Go Compare advert tune had also previously brushed off the incident. Speaking to the about their close bond, Wynne said: "She's almost 20 years younger than me, and she seems 20 years wiser than I am.
