stars and Katya Jones showed off their playful side as they posted a cheeky video of themselves.
This comes just a few weeks after the for trying to earn brownie points from the judges and viewers, as he belted out a song to show off his amazing vocal ability. However now, putting the backlash firmly behind them, the Go Compare star posted a video clip of him in rehearsal with Katya.
At one point in the clip, was overheard asking Wynne what he was riding as she zoomed in on him standing with a seaside toy, which was an illuminated seahorse. He told her mid laughter: "Well it was meant to be a horse but turns out it's a unicorn" Katya then said: "Be grateful you got that on budget."
He captioned the brief clip: "Cost me 7 quid on the promenade that." Earlier this month Wynne took to the dancefloor and performed the Rumba to a classic This Is My Life. This was then followed by him singing to the live audience and judges.
And his performance left everyone in the studio in awe. Host Tess Daly said: "That blew the hair off the back of my arms, that was something, we know Wynne can sing!" Judge Anton Du Beke was also full of praise. He said: "The best ending to a number I've ever seen in my entire life, unbelievable!" But some viewers were less impressed.
But viewers suggested that Wynne showed off his singing talent to score points and slammed the show for mimicking that of . Taking to X, one viewer said: "It's not the X Factor? # Strictly." Another said: "didn't realise I was watching x factor #strictly". Meanwhile a third person added: "It's not a singing contest #strictly" and yet another remarked: "Someone wants to tell Wynn he doesn't get points for singing!"
While Wynne faced backlash by some, there were others that appreciated his singing. One person wrote: "Really loved Wynne's routine and the powerful and inspiring message it gave, not to mention the amazing vocal finish at the end! He should be really proud! #Strictly."
And a second viewer said: "Wynne was amazing! #Strictly!" Last weekend Wynne was close to being eliminated after he found himself in the . Head judge had the deciding vote saved Wynne after he impressed her with his American Smooth to Grace Kelly by Mika.
Speaking of his exit, Shayne said: "I just want to say, you guys up there [the other contestants in the Clauditorium] are a dream. Every single day, coming in here and seeing you guys you helped me so much. I want to say thank you to the audience as well, for always being amazing for us all. This has been, honestly, one of the best things I've ever done."
He added: ""I'm proud that I made it to eight weeks as a novice dancer. A massive thank you goes to this incredible human right next to me [Nancy], who has put so much fire in me and made me believe that I can actually achieve more if I let myself go. I'm sorry it didn't work out to the end, but I'm super proud that I got to meet you [to Nancy] and dance with you, so thank you."
