Emigrating superstar will reportedly move into a home previously owned by iconic founder next year.
Seven-time champion Hamilton is set to reside in the same Maranello abode once occupied by Enzo Ferrari. And given its proximity to the team's Fiorano circuit, it's the ideal location for Hamilton to launch his next major F1 title bid.
is the only other driver to have been given the honour of using Il Commendatore's former residence as his own. The German legend once lived in the same building during his testing days, during which time he clinched seven world championships, five of which were with Ferrari.
This revelation was made by Sky Sport Italy's Carlo Vanzini, who also disclosed the date of Hamilton's 2025 arrival in Maranello has already been decided. However, he informed journalist Roberto Chinchero that the exact timing is yet to be made public.

The three-storey building houses more than just Enzo's iconic office, which has been preserved since his death in 1988. Every door and window shutter on the exterior is painted in the iconic Ferrari red, while the interior is filled with memorabilia from the manufacturer's 95-year history.
Images reveal the desk where the former Ferrari boss once conducted his business, set against a yellow tile wall adorned with the Scuderia horse. Desks, chairs and trinkets have all been preserved for nearly 40 years, along with many of the engine parts and tools treasured from the company's illustrious past.
The property is situated on Piazza Michael Schumacher, serving as another reminder to Hamilton of the challenge ahead in Italy. The 39-year-old will be hoping that by the end of his tenure with Ferrari, he too will have earned the honour of having contributed enough to justify a similar testimonial.
Directly across from Enzo Ferrari's former residence are the original team garages; unlike the former, these have been modernised to meet present-day needs. It's fair to say Hamilton won't lack distractions during his stay at the base, with Vanzini suggesting he likely won't be tempted to venture far off-site.
Excitement is already mounting ahead of Hamilton's departure from where he clinched six of his seven world titles but has now reached a plateau. The same could be said for Ferrari, who haven't crowned a world champion since Kimi Raikkonen in 2007 and are eager to break that dry spell.
According to Vanzini, the public roads surrounding Fiorano will need to be shut when Hamilton begins testing at the private track. Such is the interest his initial steps with Ferrari are likely to generate among both locals and fans travelling from afar.
Hamilton, after breaking a nearly three-year drought for a race win this season, has already demonstrated he's still got the competitive edge. And Ferrari, it seems, is going all out to equip him with everything he needs to propel them back to the pinnacle in 2025.
