Retired diver Tom Daley is reportedly gearing up to dive into the of reality TV by joining .
The 30-year-old, who has five Olympic medals under his belt, is in the final stages of discussions to join the celebrity edition of the BBC's notorious game show. This comes after a two-year hiatus, following his achievement of a lifelong dream - winning gold at the Tokyo 2021 event.
Tom will join host Claudia Winkleman and other celebrity participants at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands. Filming for the long-awaited series is set to kick off early next year.
An insider said: “He’s always been a top target for reality show bookers, but his team knew he had the pick of the crop. The first series of the celebrity edition blows and out the water, really, and Tom knows it will be hugely fun to film.

“He’ll make a great player too, as no one would suspect misdeeds from such a baby-faced lad," they told The Sun. It comes as TV quiz star has emerged as a frontrunner to take part in - if he can fit the hit series into his hectic schedule.
Producers on of the hit show, which films next year, believe the former presenter has the perfect skills to take part - even though he claims to be "terrible" at lying. One insider said: "Richard would be a terrific signing. He reckons he knows how to commit the perfect murder so could surely spot a Traitor from 100 paces or outsmart the others if he needs to?
"He also knows exactly how TV works. Anyone who's seen him on Pointless or House of Games will know how clever he is. And his claim that he's no good at lying seems unlikely."
Despite his intellect, Cambridge-educated Richard was turned down for MI6 during his student days. Last year he revealed: "You could not find a worse spy. I would have been terrible. I'm too tall, not bright enough, and if I have a secret, I tell everybody."
Richard, 53, currently presents House of Games and Pointless Celebrities for the . The dad-of-two also presents a podcast, with journalist Marina Hyde, called The Rest is Entertainment.
When asked on the podcast if his crime-writing had taught him how to get away with murder in real life, he said it had, claiming the key to success lay in lying to a jury. "The way to commit the perfect murder is to assume you're going to get caught and to commit a murder in such a way that you will get away with it in court," he explained.
