Reality TV star Colton Underwood has announced the arrival of his newborn baby.

Colton, 32 - who rose to fame on The Bachelorette in 2018, before fronting The Bachelor the following year - announced earlier this year that he was expecting a baby via surrogate with his husband Jordan C. Brown. The couple took to Instagram on Monday to announce baby Bishop's birth.

Their joint post included photos of the newborn, who was born on Thursday last week. Alongside a blue heart emoji, they wrote: "Our world is a million times better with you in it. Bishop Colton Brown-Underwood. September 26th, 2024."

One photo showed Jordan holding the newborn in a carrier whilst standing beside Colton. The post also included black-and-white photos of Bishop, including one of him asleep and another showing him being bottle-fed. Another photo showed Bishop gently holding onto one of his parents' fingers. Colton later shared the post on his Instagram Story, adding in the follow-up: "Our world has changed. We love you so much."

The post has been met with well wishes from his followers, including some fellow celebrities, on the platform. Actor Kate Hudson reacted with heart emojis, whilst Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause wrote; "Soooo happy for you guys." Former Queer Eye star Bobby Berk said: "Congrats loves."
