Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, turned his 35th birthday into an opportunity to give back by hosting the second annual Kelce Car Jam charity event in Kansas City on Saturday.

The fundraiser and block party, which benefits his 87 and Running Foundation, aims to support underprivileged children in Kansas City and Cleveland. The event was star-studded, with attendees including Chiefs quarterback and his wife, Brittany.

However, girlfriend, the pop sensation , was noticeably missing from the festivities. Her absence came as a surprise given US Weekly's recent report claiming: "Swift will likely be on hand to celebrate his October 5 birthday with family and friends at his Kelce Car Jam in Kansas City."

Despite her absence, Taylor Swift's spirit was very much alive at the event, with her hits playing throughout the venue. Kelce also showcased his vintage 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, the same car he was seen driving Swift in last year following her first-ever Chiefs game appearance.

"This year is the second year we've done a car show, basically a block-party style event, that will showcase some of the city's top automobiles from the Fuel House, a fun car club out here," Kelce revealed on the 'New Heights' podcast earlier this week.

"And then I guess a bunch of others that are lined up. It's gonna be fun. I should have my old school '70 Chevelle all revved up and ready to rock and roll. If not, I'll bring one of the other cars that I have.

"It's always fun to get out here in Kansas City. Kansas City, they show up every single time that I've done anything foundation-wise, and I love them for it."

Speaking to at the event, Kelce confirmed that Swift would be present at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs take on the New Orleans Saints on Monday. "She will not be here [today. But] I know she's coming in for the game," he shared. When asked what gift the 35 year old would like for his birthday, Kelce responded: "I'll take another Super Bowl if you got one of those.".

After attending the Chiefs' first two games of the season, Swift has missed Kansas City's last two matches, which were victories over the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers, respectively.

Despite the absence of his biggest fan, Kelce delivered his best performance of the season in the Chiefs' 17-10 triumph over the Chargers last week. The nine-time Pro Bowler caught seven passes on nine attempts for 89 yards - a significant increase from his total yardage in the previous three games.

Whether Kelce has genuinely regained his form after an unusually slow start to the year is yet to be determined. In the first four weeks of the season, he hasn't scored a touchdown or surpassed 100 receiving yards in any game.
