She told Edinburgh Live: "Her whole life revolved around looking after her family. She loved to draw and spent most of her time with her kids. She was loved by everyone and her death was very sudden. She was a mother, daughter, sister, cousin, auntie and a friend. We are thankful to everyone for their condolences and the flowers we have received."

Dee's oldest daughter Demi, 18, shared an emotional tribute to her mum on Facebook, describing her as the "glue to her family" and her "absolute world." She wrote: "As some of you may know my mum sadly passed away tonight, she was the glue to our family, our absolute world and kept us all sane, we are genuinely so heartbroken to be writing this."

"My mum was the most amazing person to walk this earth and we wouldn't change her for the world, we will forever hold and cherish the amazing memories we have with her, we promise to never let anyone forget about you or how amazing of a woman you were, not only were you an incredible woman but you were an incredible mum, sister, daughter, cousin, niece and auntie.

"We will forever love you and miss you till we finally meet again, just know Paul and Lyle will be taken good care off and kept safe forever I know you'll be a peace knowing your babies are taken care off and your family are too."

Family friend Cheryl Henderson has also launched a fundraiser on behalf of Dee's heartbroken family to support her three children. She wrote: "On September 26th, our beloved Dee McIntyre, left us unexpectedly. She was a devoted mother to her three beautiful children, Demi, Paul and Lyle, and brought joy to everyone around her. In this incredibly difficult time, we want to ensure they have the support they need."

"We are raising funds to provide for her children's daily needs, and future endeavours. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us honour her memory and provide a safety net for her kids."
