Former heavyweight world champion has taken to social media to reignite his rivalry with British star .

Fury, 36, is currently preparing for his rematch with later this year. The Ukrainian became the first man to beat 'The Gyspy King' after he scored in Riyadh back in May. In doing so, the 37-year-old became the first fighter to be crowned undisputed king of the heavyweight division since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

The big moment in their first clash came in the ninth round. Usyk landed several stinging shots which appeared to nearly knock Fury out. The Brit was left severely dazed and was saved by the bell, with many believing that the bout should've been stopped. Following the agonising defeat, 'The Gyspy King' has gone back to the drawing board as he aims to avenge his loss to the Ukrainian.

While he's no doubt taking preparations seriously, it appears Fury has taken time out of his busy schedule to mock his heavyweight rival, Joshua. The Brit posted a picture of his comparison with 'AJ.' The caption under Joshua reads: "My breakfast consists of yams, eggs and dates. Followed by a big bowl of porridge, a protein shake, a glass of orange juice and a glass of honey lemon and ginger." While the caption under a picture of Fury looking rather out of shape read: "I remember one night I had 14 pints of Fosters and then sparred three top-ten heavyweights and battered them all." He then commented under the snapshot: "Just saying," accompanied with a laughing emoji.

Fury appears to be taking a cheap shot at Joshua following the latter's latest defeat, as he suffered a devastating fifth round knockout to last month. It remains to be seen whether or not 'AJ' will bite back and engage in a war of words with the 36-year-old.

Many have called for Fury and Joshua to go head-to-head in the ring following Joshua's defeat to 'Dynamite.' One man who believes the pair should fight next is Carl Froch. , the 47-year-old said: "AJ can have a bit of time off, sit back, and rest and recover and get his mind right and have a look at how Fury performs against Usyk. I think that's a safe plot and a safe path to exiting the game."

'The Gyspy King's' post came just minutes after . Despite the former champion coming across as polite during his recent encounter with the Ukrainian, Fury uploaded a picture to of his rival landing a punch during their first encounter back in May. The Brit captioned to photo: "You had your shot but couldn’t finish the job! Mistake! Now your about to feel the wrath of A menace! F*** @usykaa f*** @klimasmanagement f*** @alex.krassyuk & if your down with Usyk then f*** you 2! Gypsy king 2024 coming for you! Dec 21 is mine. Me against the . Incoming 3x heavyweight champ!"

Many in that situation would bite back. However, rather than trading insults, the heavyweight king was very respectful and saw the amusing side in his message. In a story posted on his official Instagram page, the 37-year-old responded: "You're really cool, my friend." With just two months to go until the mouthwatering sequel, Fury revealed and claimed he only needed a few weeks of preparation for the contest. When recently asked how preparation for the rematch was going, he replied: "I haven't started training yet.

"I won't go into camp for a good while. I think I've got 13 weeks today until my fight. So, I'll probably start training in about six weeks for it. I do about six/seven weeks training for these fights usually and I'll be ready to rock and roll on the night. Roll on December 21, come on!"
