Victor Osimhen is back shining on the European stage which will have sent a clear transfer reminder to Arsenal and Chelsea. When at Napoli, the striker was strongly linked to the London clubs though the steep asking price saw interest decrease, with Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres becoming the focus of both.
This past summer, was instructed to find himself a new club but the Nigeria international failed to do so before the window closed in most European countries. However, Turkish clubs were still able to trade with Galatasaray acquiring his services on a season-long loan.
Despite having only scored four times since his move, Osimhen has been key in Galatasaray's rise to the summit of the Turkish league and excellent start to the Europa League. In the huge derby clash against Besiktas last Monday, Osimhen found the back of the net and his scoring streak has continued.
With Tottenham as the visitors to RAMS Park, Osimhen netted a first-half brace to help his team take a 3-1 lead into the interval. His first goal came after a mistake from Radu Dragusin with Osimhen tucking home a first-time effort and his second minutes later after he volleyed home Dries Mertens' cross.
The 25-year-old had a total of four shots on target in the opening period and also saw another effort disallowed. In just 45 minutes, Osimhen reminded everyone of his quality and that performance could prove decisive in deciding where his future will lie.
Upon departing Naples for Turkiye, he signed a new contract until 2027 which includes a break clause that can be activated in January and a new release clause believed to be in the region of £66.6million (€80m). In comparison to past summers, Osimhen could now depart for half the price being asked by Napoli.

He is likely the favoured target of both Arsenal and Chelsea, with Manchester United also likely to be interested given Ruben Amorim's impending arrival, however Osimhen is certainly still an option.
Two days on from the Swede scoring a hat-trick against Manchester City, an alternative striker target is doing his best to match that.
