Will there be a Celebrity Big Brother in 2025 as ITV told 'get your act together'

As Big Brother 2024 draws to a close, viewers have already told to 'get their act together' ahead of the new celebrity version.

Celebrity returned to our screens earlier this year, with a dozen famous faces forced to live together for a total of 19 days.

Isolated from the outside , they embarked on the ultimate social experiment, taking part in weekly tasks with cameras capturing every move.

The celebrity housemates included presenter , music manager , actor and even ' uncle . However, it was David Potts, who first appeared on TV screens as head rep on Ibiza Weekender who won the series.

Now, fans are wondering since the latest civilian series has wrapped up, will they be able to look forward to a new celebrity edition.

Earlier reports claimed a new series will air in 2025 and once again last for around three weeks.

In a post on the broadcaster's official social media account, it confirmed that Celebrity Big Brother will return for a new star-studded edition next year.

While no specific dates were mentioned it is believed episodes will begin sometime from April - June. It has been confirmed that the show will broadcast on ITV1, as oppose to the regular series which was only shown on ITV2.

The broadcaster confirmed the 2024 series less than a week before the regular civilian series finished in 2023, so they have left it a little later this time around.

However, fans anticipating one of the must watch reality series of next year have made some demands. Viewers hope they won't see some recent features return, such as the role of Head of House, or the number of back-door evictions.

Posting on social media, one fan said: "For onwards the producers need to get there act together on when evictions are. The live stream should be a permanent feature every night not axed on a whim because the show has too many housemates left & needs to evict them before the final."

Another agreed, adding: "I don't mind this kind of manipulation (Head of House influence) when it comes to as I don't as seriously as I do civil. But I don't think that I've got another series of ITV Big Brother in me but I hope they sort it out for the fans that come back."

With no date confirmed for the show's return, there's also no confirmed housemates to but one name that is tipped to feature is , who was linked with an appearance on but dropped out last minute.

He's certainly no stranger to reality TV, having met his former partner on , while also making an appearance on his brother's docuseries At Home With the Furies.

Fans have also shared their wishes for who they want to see take up residence in the house. Suggested names include: , Danny Dyer, Eamonn Holmes, Joe Locke and Amelia Dimoldenberg.
