Chicken is a favourite for many due to its delicious taste, benefits and versatility in flavour.

However, cooking breasts can sometimes result in dry meat. But now, thanks to a cook known as @ketorecipes on, you won't have to worry about that anymore.

He has shared his method for creating the "juiciest chicken breasts ever", which he claims are so succulent they're practically "dripping with juice".

The video he posted shows the tantalising results, and the steps to achieve them are surprisingly simple. Start by seasoning your chicken breasts and letting them marinate.

The cook uses a mix of spices, yoghurt and lemon juice, but reveals that the "secret" ingredient is a small amount of baking soda, which helps to "soften up" the meat fibres.

Next, let the meat reach room temperature before cooking it on medium heat with a lid on for three-and-a-half minutes. Then flip the chicken over and cook for an additional seven minutes.

Once cooked, allow it to rest for five minutes before serving. According to @ketorecipes, this method guarantees "perfect" chicken every time.

Since being posted, the video has been viewed more than 5,000 times, with many people commenting on their eagerness to try out the simple way to jazz up their chicken.

One fan recommended: "If you have an air fryer, try wrapping in foil and cooking. So juicy." Another joked: "Stop. What. Trying! " A third also praised: "Your recipes are amazing - thank you."

Meanwhile, a fourth foodie agreed: "Secret isn't just baking soda, the lemon and room temperature is huge. Then rest it. He's not wrong. Glistening pearly white and fork tender."
