Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will fill a total of 220 vacancies of various posts including DSP and SDM through PCS 2024 examination. The application process for this started from 1 January 2024 and lasted till 1 February 2024. About 5 lakh 74 thousand candidates have applied to appear in the preliminary examination. Earlier this exam was to be held on 27 October. Later the commission postponed it and released the new date 7 and 8 December 2024.
UPPSC PCS Selection Process: What is the selection process of UP PCS?
Selection is done in a total of three stages. The first stage is of preliminary examination. The successful candidates in this appear in the second stage main examination. At the same time, those who pass the Mains exam appear in the third stage selection process interview. The final selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in the main examination and interview. There are two papers in the preliminary examination and objective type questions of total 250 marks are asked in the exam. The first paper is of 150 marks of General Studies and the second CSET is of 100 marks. At the same time, the main exam is of 1500 marks.
UPPSC RO/ARO Selection Process: How is RO/ARO selected?
The Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer preliminary examination is of total 200 marks. The successful candidates appear in the main examination, which is of 400 marks. The successful candidates in the mains exam appear in the interview. This examination was conducted on 11 February 2024, but the examination was canceled due to paper leak.
