NEET UG 2025: The NEET UG exam held in the year 2024 was in the news for several months. This year the NEET UG paper leak case reached the Supreme Court. Keeping all these things in mind, preparations are underway to make major changes in the NEET UG 2025 exam. This will prevent cases like NEET UG paper leak and cheating. The NEET UG attempt limit is also being reduced. Earlier, candidates could appear for the exam as many times as they wanted, but this will not happen in the future.
The NEET UG exam is expected on May 4, 2025. NTA i.e. National Testing Agency is preparing to bring major changes in the NEET UG exam. NEET has been included in the toughest exams in the country. Every year 15-20 lakh 12th pass candidates appear in it. Only a few of them can succeed and get admission to top medical colleges. At present, there is confusion regarding the NEET UG 2025 exam pattern (NEET 2025 Attempt Limit). Candidates are under stress due to the possibility of change in it.
NEET UG 2025 Latest News: Many facilities will be abolished
In 2020, when the whole world was struggling with the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, major changes were made in many examinations. Now that the world has become normal again, many facilities are being gradually eliminated. WHO has announced the end of Kovid 19. That is why the facility of options being given till last year in the question paper of the engineering entrance exam JEE-Main is being abolished in the exam to be held in the year 2025. It is believed that the facilities given for NEET can also be abolished.
NEET UG Exam Pattern: The NEET paper pattern was changed in Covid
Some important changes were made in the NEET exam pattern to provide convenience to the candidates during the Kovid-19 period. Based on the same logic as the end of COVID-19, the facility of options in the question paper can be eliminated in the question paper of NEET UG 2025. No notification has been issued in this regard at present. That is why there is confusion in the minds of the candidates. In the year 2022, keeping in mind the interest of the students going through the difficult situation of COVID-19, the paper pattern of the medical entrance exam NEET UG was changed.
NEET UG Paper Pattern: What is the NEET UG exam pattern?
In the NEET UG exam, the option to solve any 10 questions out of 15 questions was given in Part B of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology subjects. In this situation, the number of questions in each subject increased from 45 to 50. The total number of questions increased from 180 to 200. Candidates were also given 20 minutes of extra time to read the questions. Now if options are removed from NEET like JEE Main, then along with the questions, the reading time will also be reduced.
