Staff Selection Commission i.e. SSC may release the result of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 Exam 2024 soon. The exam was conducted from 9 to 26 September. SSC released the final answer key on October 4 and fixed the last date for filing objections as October 8. SSC CGL Exam 2024 Pattern: What was the pattern of the exam?

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam consisted of objective multiple choice questions in four subjects including General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. There is also negative marking in this exam i.e. 0.5 marks will be deducted from the candidate's score for each wrong answer.

SSC CGL Exam 2024: Minimum marks to pass the exam

To pass the exam, candidates of unreserved category have to get minimum 30 percent marks, while candidates of OBC and EWS category have to get at least 25 percent marks and passing marks have been fixed at 20 percent for candidates of all other categories.

SSC CGL Exam 2024: How much salary will you get?

Candidates selected for Group B posts under SSC CGL will get a salary ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month.
