RRC ER 2024 Recruitment: The railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of Eastern Railway has taken out recruitment in railways for talented athletes through its sports quota recruitment campaign. Through this recruitment, Level 1,2,3,4 and 5 posts will be filled in Eastern Railway. Candidates appearing in this recruitment can apply by visiting the official website (). The last date to apply is 14 December 2024.
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 60 posts, including 5 posts for Group C Level-4 / Level-5, 16 posts for Group C Level-2 / Level-3, and 39 posts for Group D Level-1. This recruitment includes vacancies in archery, athletics, boxing, cricket, shooting, athletics, basketball, football, kabaddi, etc.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for Level 4 or 5 must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university.
For Level 2 or 3, candidates should have passed classes 10th and 12th.
For Level 1, candidates with a class 10th pass or ITI certificate can apply.
The age limit for all candidates is 18 to 25 years, there is no relaxation for any category.

Candidates are selected based on their performance in sports trials, document verification, and final merit ranking, taking into account both trial scores and academic achievements.
Sports Trial: This test is conducted to evaluate the physical abilities of the candidates and their expertise in their respective sports subjects. Marks will be awarded based on performance, skill, and fitness.
Document Verification: Candidates must submit valid educational and sports certificates. Documents will be checked to ensure eligibility compliance.
Final Merit List: A merit list will be prepared by combining sports trial marks and educational qualifications.

Application Fee
For these posts, the General category applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs.500 (Rs.400 refundable after attending the test) while SC/ST/Female/Minority/EBC candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.250 (fully refundable after attending the test).
