Bhajan Lal government of Rajasthan has now taken a big step to give relief to the common man from inflation in the state. A new system has been started by the state government to make onions available to consumers at a discounted rate in the state. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara and Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge) Gautam Kumar Dak inaugurated this system on Wednesday. He flagged off 10 vans from Nehru Sahakar Bhawan to make onions available to consumers at a discounted rate.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara said during this time that onions are being made available to consumers at the rate of only Rs 35 per kg by the Food and Civil Supplies Department under the Price Stabilization Fund Scheme and through the National Consumers Federation of India.

Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge) Gautam Kumar Dak said that currently onions are available to people in the market at the rate of 60 to 70 rupees per kg. Now, consumers will get great relief as onions will be available at the rate of only 35 rupees per kg through NCCF.

Onions will be available at these ten places today at cheap rates:

On Thursday, the van will provide onions to people at cheap rates at Nehru Sahakar Bhawan, 22 Godown Circle, Udyog Bhawan, Shyam Nagar Metro Station, Shipra Path, Paramhans Marg, Mansarovar, Madhyam Marg, near City Park, Mansarovar, Sanganer (Malpura Gate near Police Station), Jagatpura (near Railway Gate), Sikar Road, VKI (Khaitan Hospital, Number One Bus Stand), Vaishali Nagar (Amrapali Circle) and Jhotwara (Shalimar Circle, near Netaji's Chakki).
