What is the Airtel PUK Code?

PUK is used for Personal Unblocking Numbers. This is a security feature so that other users cannot use your SIM card. If the wrong PIN is entered more than three times, the SIM card gets locked, and then it can be unlocked through the PUK code.

How to get an Airtel PUK Code through SMS?

Airtel customers can get the PUK code through an SMS.

For this, you will need an alternate number of Airtel which can be found at your family or friend's place.

Now write the PUK code printed on the back side of your SIM card.

Now send a message by writing the locked phone number to 785 from the alternate number.

Now write the 15-digit PUK SIM card number and send it to 121.

Airtel will send you an 8-digit PUK code on the alternate number.

Now go to the locked Airtel number and enter this code and your SIM card will be unlocked.

How to unlock Airtel PUK Code through USSD Code

For this, you will have to dial 12151# from any other Airtel number. When the pop-up appears, click OK.
After a few seconds, another pop-up will appear.
Select the PUK option from the menu.
Now enter your date of birth (D.O.B) to verify your identity.
After this, the PUK code will be visible on the screen through which you can unlock your SIM card.

How to get an Airtel PUK Code from Customer Care
Dial 121 from any other Airtel number.
Tell the customer care representative about the problem related to the PUK code.
The representative will ask you for the necessary details and also ask for the 15-digit SIM number which is printed on the back of the SIM card.
