Karan Johar announces rom-com 'Chand Mera Dil' starring Ananya Panday & 'Kill' star Lakshya

A few weeks after industrialist Adar Poonawalla acquired 50 percent stakes in Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the production house has announced their new film, a romantic comedy titled Chand Mera Dil.

Directed by Vivek Soni of Meenakshi Sundareshwar fame, Chand Mera Dil stars Ananya Panday and Lakshya in the lead roles.

The film marks Lakshya’s first lead role post his much-loved debut in action film Kill. As for Ananya, this seems to be another winner for the actress after back-to-back successes like Dream Girl 2, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Call Me Bae and CTRL.

Sharing the first look posters of the film, Karan Johar posted, “We have two chands ready to bring an intense & passionate love story like no other!!! Pyaar mein thoda paagal hona hi padta hai… Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday & Lakshya. Directed by Vivek Soni. Coming to cinemas in 2025.”
