TVF ventures into films with Sidharth Malhotra's folk thriller 'Vvan'; see motion poster

For over a decade, TVF aka The Viral Fever has entertained the audience with several successful and loved web shows like Panchayat, Permanent Roommates, Gullak etc.

Now, they are venturing into filmmaking with a big screen folk thriller titled Vvan: Force of the forrest and starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role.

Sharing the motion poster of the same, Sidharth Malhotra posted, “Excited to be part of this folk thriller, with a powerhouse team Can’t wait for you all to experience 'VVAN - Force of the forrest' on the big screen in 2025. @balajitelefilms @tvf Coming On Chhath, 2025”.

The film will be co-directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra who is also the director of Panchayat and Arunabh Kumar, the founder of TVF.

Reacting to the announcement and motion poster, one social media user wrote, “TVF is involved in this it's gonna be promising, promo looks interesting as well”.

While no further detail has been revealed about the film, a Bollywood Hungama report claimed that Sara Ali Khan has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Sidharth in the film.

Vvan is expected to go on floors by early 2025 and will release in theatres on the festival of Chhath later that year.
