Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], October 9 (ANI): A fire broke out at the Royal World complex here on Sansar Chandra Road here on Wednesday morning.
Devendra Meena, Fire Officer, Nagar Nigam Heritage said that the complex, a five storey building had caught fire on the fourth and the fifth floor.
"The complex is a five-storey building an the fire had occurred on the fourth and the fifth floor. We had called our rescue teams immediately on receiving the information. There are approximately 10 offices on one floor. The fire had occurred due to a short circuit. If the fire would have occurred in the night, it would have been difficult to handle the situation. Luckily, the fire had occurred when no one was there. The complex has been given notices earlier as well," the CFO said.
The roads from Government Hostel to Chandpole were closed after the fire occurred. Electricity was also shut down in the area.
The fire is being doused off. Further details awaited. (ANI)
