Teachers' Day Celebrated with Fervour
Udaipur: Teachers' Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the city and district. Various educational institutions, organizations, and clubs organized programs to honour teachers for their dedication and selfless service.
In Udaipur, a state-level function was organized at the district headquarters, where three teachers from the district were felicitated. The event was attended by District Education Officer (Headquarters) Lokesh Bharti, CBEEO Girwa Kunjbihari Bhardwaj, and other dignitaries.
Dr Ganesha Kalal, Kishan Soni, and Chetan Devasi, three teachers from Girwa block, were honoured for their outstanding contributions. They were also felicitated by the Rajasthan Shiksha Seva Pradhyapak Sangh (Ressla) at the City Railway Station.
Meanwhile, MPUAT's constituent Rajasthan Krishi Mahavidyalaya organized a program to mark the occasion. The chief guest, Dr. Bhagwati Prakash Sharma, Chairman, of Pacific Group of Universities, felicitated the teachers with shawls and certificates.
Similarly, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Suvivu, celebrated Teachers' Day with a program attended by Himanshu Jain, Chairman of the institute. The department's head, Dr Kunchan Acharya, and other faculty members were honoured on the occasion.
NSUI, a student organization, also organized a program to felicitate university teachers. The event was attended by Deependra Singh Rathore, Samir Meghwal, Vikram Bhaduri, and other NSUI activists.
Narayan Seva Sansthan's Narayan Children Academy celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm. The institute's director, Vandana Agarwal, felicitated the teachers with certificates and shawls.
Mahatma Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti, Udaipur, organized a program to mark the occasion. The chief guest, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, honoured teachers with tri-colour shawls and certificates.
Rajkiya Polytechnic College also celebrated Teachers' Day with a program attended by the principal and faculty members. The students presented various performances to express their gratitude towards their teachers.
Several other educational institutions, including Mira Girls College, Rajkiya Higher Secondary School, and Alok School, also organized programs to celebrate Teachers' Day.
In addition, various social organizations, including the Rotary Club Udaipur, Inner Wheel Club Udaipur, and Mahesh Seva Sansthan, felicitated teachers for their selfless service.
The celebrations were marked by various performances, including cultural programs, skits, and speeches, which highlighted the importance of teachers in shaping the future of society.
