New Delhi: With just one day left for candidates to register for the IIT Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2025, those who have yet to apply are urged to do so by tomorrow, 11th October. Interested candidates can complete their registration on the official website at jam2025.iitd.ac.in. The application window will close after this date.
The IIT JAM 2025 examination will be conducted by IIT Delhi, and candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their application forms until 18th October.
Registration Fees
Candidates from the women, SC, ST, and differently-abled categories are required to pay a registration fee of ₹900 for one test paper and ₹1,250 for two test papers. In contrast, candidates from other categories will need to pay ₹1,800 for one paper and ₹2,500 for two papers. After registration, a fee of ₹300 will be charged for changes in exam city, test paper, or category.
How to Register for IIT JAM 2025
The IIT JAM 2025 examination will take place on 2nd February 2025 at various designated centres across the country. Admit cards will be issued in January, and results will be announced on 19th March. Candidates can use their JAM scorecards to gain admission to MSc, MSc (Tech), MS (Research), and MSc-MTech dual degree programmes at IITs.
Exam Format
The IIT JAM 2025 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, lasting three hours. Section A will comprise 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), including ten 1-mark questions and twenty 2-mark questions. Section B will feature ten multiple-select questions (MSQs), each worth two marks, while Section C will contain twenty numerical answer type questions.
