Production house Pooja Entertainment has decided to shelve the project due to budgetary issues. The film was first announced in 2017 with Vicky Kaushal, Aditya Dhar and RSVP Productions. But the project was shelved at that time due to budgetary issues. Later, Vasu Bhagnani and Jacky Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment bought the rights of the film and relaunched it with Shahid Kapoor.

However, once again the same budget problem cropped up and the film was shelved. Shahid Kapoor's lead role and sci-fi theme in the film were raising great expectations among the audience. Shahid Kapoor's fans have definitely been disappointed by this news. But now it remains to be seen whether this project will be restarted in the future or it has been shelved forever.
