Send Push
Angelina Jolie, star of Tomb Raider, is reportedly facing a financial crisis that has led her to liquidate personal belongings to cover her expenses. Sources reveal that her spending has exceeded her income, and her ongoing legal battles, particularly with ex-husband Brad Pitt, are believed to be a major contributing factor to her financial strain.

Jolie had previously pursued a lawsuit against the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services over investigations into Brad Pitt’s alleged abusive behaviour during a 2016 flight. However, with Pitt cleared of the allegations, Jolie reportedly withdrew the lawsuit due to mounting legal costs. These legal fees have become a heavy burden, with sources saying she can no longer afford to continue the lawsuits. According to reports by Radar, "Every time she talks to a lawyer, the tab goes up.”

What prized possessions is the actress willing to sell?

In response to her financial struggles, Angelina Jolie is reportedly selling some of her prized possessions, including her 1958 Ferrari 250 GT for $1.3 million, along with designer clothing, shoes, accessories, and possibly jewellery given to her by Pitt during their marriage.

Is Jolie looking for a new partner?
She is also facing college expenses for some of her children. To make ends meet, Jolie is said to be open to taking on roles she would have previously avoided, in search of a paycheck. Sources also suggest that she is looking for a wealthier partner to help with her financial situation, despite her current relationship with British rapper and activist Akala. Jolie is reportedly considering all options to resolve her money woes and support her family.

Another legal battle
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are engaged in an ongoing legal battle centring around
A $500 million property they jointly owned during their marriage, a French winery named Château Miraval. The dispute began after Jolie decided to sell her share of the property to a Russian company in 2016 without notifying Pitt, a move that Pitt’s legal team argues violated a previous agreement that granted him the right of first refusal. Pitt’s team claims that Jolie’s actions were motivated by personal spite and an attempt to harm him financially.

In response, Jolie has made counterclaims, revealing private aspects of their relationship in legal documents. She explained that she did not sell her share to Pitt because he insisted on her signing a restrictive non-disclosure agreement about alleged past incidents, as well as seeking access to her prior NDAs. Additionally, Jolie's company, Nouvel, filed a $350 million lawsuit against Pitt, accusing him of improperly using the winery's assets.
