Actor Sivakarthikeyan shared an endearing video wishing his wife Aarthy a happy birthday, surprising her as Major Mukund, his character from the recent film Amaran. Her sweetest reaction and the actor’s gesture did not go unnoticed by his fans The internet reacted warmly, expressing their love for the unique way of wishing birthday.

In the video, Sivakarthikeyan appears in an army uniform with a clean-shaven look, quietly standing behind Aarthy in the kitchen until she notices him. She initially looks surprised but quickly smiles and embraces him as he laughs. "Happy happy birthday, @aarthy.sivakarthikeyan. Love you," he captioned the video. Aarthy shared the video on her Instagram stories, adding heart emojis.

Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, Amaran tells the story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, portrayed by Sivakarthikeyan, inspired by the real-life soldier. The film explores themes of patriotism, courage, and sacrifice, focusing on the heroism of this national figure. Sai Pallavi plays the role of Mukund’s wife, and the music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, Amaran has captivated audiences with its gripping narrative and emotional depth.

Released on October 31, the film quickly became Sivakarthikeyan’s highest-grossing movie, surpassing Rs 250 crore worldwide at the box office. The film is based on India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 172 crore from India in its first 15 days. On November 14, it had a 25.73 per cent occupancy rate in Tamil, with morning shows at 18.80 per cent, afternoon shows at 24.15 per cent, evening shows at 29.45 per cent, and night shows at 30.15 per cent.
