Zerodha's Nikhil Kamath youngest philanthropist in Hurun's list. Check how much he donated

Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Zerodha, has been recognized as one of the youngest philanthropists in the EdelGive-Hurun India Philanthropy List 2024 at the age of 38.

Kamath’s contributions through the Rainmatter Foundation amount to an impressive Rs 120 crore, placing him among the top young philanthropists in India.

Known for his investment acumen and dedication to social causes particularly towards sustainability and environment, Kamath joins other notable young philanthropists such as Vivek Vakil (35) of Asian Paints and Adar Poonawalla (43) of the Villoo Poonawalla Charitable Foundation.

Notably, Poonawalla emerged as the highest contributor with Rs 142 crore.

Nikhil Kamath along with his brother Nitin Kamath (45) ranked 15 on the list of Philanthropists who donated more than Rs 100 crore – EdelGive-Hurun India Philanthropy List 2024, which features Shiv Nadar and Ambani families.
