There is a huge opposition against Revanth on the ongoing demolitions in and around Hyderabad. The leaders within the party are openly opposing the CM. There is a talk that the HYDRAA will sink the Congress Government.
Senior Congress leaders are learnt to have expressed their strong reservations during internal discussions to the one-sided decisions of Revanth Reddy. Sources said they fear HYDRAA could sink both the party and the government. They are believed to be planning to raise the issue with the Congress high command, explaining the damage that these demolitions could inflict on the party’s future.
Not so surprisingly, most Ministers are distancing themselves from the ongoing demolitions. They are lamenting that the Congress, which once championed “Indiramma Rajyam”, is now earning a reputation as the demolition government.
A Minister reportedly questioned the purpose of demolishing the homes of the poor, fearing that the party could become a “lifetime enemy” in the eyes of the marginalised if these actions continued.
There is also a talk that HYDRAA is giving life to the BRS whish was in the ICU after the elections. Now the people are coming to the BRS leaders for opposing Congress policies. Demolitions are a wrong decision of the Congress Government they say.
It would be wise on the party of Revanth to think twice before he is pushed away by the resentment of the people in General.
