Maharashtra Election 2024: Campaigning for the Maharashtra assembly elections is at its peak. AIMIM has also put in its full strength in this election. First Asaduddin Owaisi gave a provocative speech in his rally. Now an inflammatory speech by his brother has surfaced. In fact, a new controversy has arisen due to the statement of AIMIM leader and Telangana MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi during a rally. In fact, in his speech on Tuesday, he indirectly mentioned his infamous "15 minutes" comment made in the year 2012.
Statement of Akbaruddin OwaisiAkbaruddin Owaisi, brother of AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi, made his latest controversial remarks while speaking at a political rally in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad) on Tuesday (5 November). Let us tell you that a large number of people attended this AIMIM rally. In this rally, he asked his party workers and those present in the rally to be patient as there are still “15 minutes” left in the time limit of his rally. The crowd reacted strongly to his remarks. Akbaruddin Owaisi once again mentioned 15 minutes in his speech. Referring to the time of campaigning, Owaisi said, “It is 9:45 am now. It's time. There are 15 more minutes left, be patient, be patient. Neither will I leave them alone, nor will they leave me alone…, this is going on but what is the echo.”
BJP leader Navneet Rana answered this। अरे भाई 15 मिनट बाकी है सब्र करये। अकबरुद्दीन ओवैसी। #asaduddinowaisi pic.twitter.com/Qm9JzQcjPc

Navneet Rana has strongly hit back at AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi. BJP leader Navneet Rana, who is emerging as the face of hardline Hindutva in Maharashtra, has responded to Akbaruddin Owaisi's '15 minutes' statement and also challenged that, we will take only 15 seconds. Actually Akbaruddin Owaisi had made a controversial remark in 2012. Owaisi had created a political storm in a rally by saying that the number of Muslims is 25 crores as compared to 100 crore Hindus, but remove the police from the country for 15 minutes, it will be known who is how powerful. There was a lot of controversy about this. The matter also went to court, however in 2022 the court acquitted Akbaruddin Owaisi in two hate speech cases including the 'remove police for 15 minutes' remark.
