An oil tanker hit a bike-riding family in Alwar, killing two women and seriously injuring a man and his nine-month-old daughter.

Alwar (Rajasthan). A horrific road accident devastated a family on Saturday afternoon in Shivaji Park police station area of Alwar city. An oil tanker hit a bike-riding family near Dussehra ground on Behror Road, resulting in the death of two women on the spot.

A tanker came after a police constable as death

At the time of the accident, Shailendra (27), son of traffic police head constable Girraj Singh, was taking his wife Veervati (26) and sister Saraswati (23) to the exam centre. His 9-month-old daughter Vanshika was also with him. As his bike moved from Teharpur towards the examination centre in Vijay Mandir area, a tanker coming from behind dragged his bike for about 200 metres.

The wife and sister died in front of the husband

After the accident, Shailendra's wife and sister died on the spot. Shailendra and his daughter were seriously injured and were admitted to the district hospital. Both of them have fractures in their legs and hands.

Two dead bodies were badly stuck under the tanker

According to the police, the accident happened around 12:30 pm. People who reached the spot said that Shailendra's father Girraj Singh reached the hospital as soon as he got the information about the accident. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police took immediate action, but the bike was badly stuck under the tanker.

There is a wave of mourning in the whole village

Shailendra and Veervati were married in 2021. This tragic accident has not only shocked Shailendra's family, but a wave of mourning has spread across the entire village. Girraj Singh has four children, out of which one daughter lost her life in this accident. The family is now getting the injured Shailendra and his daughter treated. There is chaos in the family.
