Fraud in the name of scented milk in Andhra Pradesh

In the era of cyber scams, more than 200 people of Andhra Pradesh have become victims of the 'donkey scam'. However, the police took action in this case and arrested three accused, which also includes the owner of Jenny Milk.

It is being reported that about 200 unsuspecting people have been duped by a private company based in Andhra Pradesh. The company has collected huge amounts of money from the public by promising huge profits through donkey rearing and trading its milk as a 'miraculous medicinal product'. The Andhra Pradesh company also recently opened a branch in Hospet in Vijayanagara district and convinced people to sign a three-year agreement on a bond paper of Rs 500 to start donkey rearing. According to the agreement, for Rs 3 lakh, the company was giving three female donkeys and three calves.

What was the company's claim?

The company claimed that it gives three female donkeys in one unit. Many people bought many units after the company's claim. According to media reports, people were informed that more than 20 units have already been sold. At the same time, 20 days after the agreement, the company gives donkeys, which are ordered from various states including Rajasthan and Gujarat. There were many strict conditions for milk production in which the company will collect the milk directly. Every unit of three donkeys will give at least 1.5 liters and maximum 2 liters of milk daily. If the milk production exceeds this limit, the company reserves the right to cancel the agreement and confiscate the amount paid by the farmer.

Strange conditions of the company

On the contrary, if the milk production falls below 1.5 liters, the company will replace a donkey within 10 days. Farmers were promised Rs 2,350 per liter for donkey milk. The company gave several units of donkeys to many farmers and offered an attractive price of Rs 2350 per liter for donkey milk. The company convinced the farmers that donkey milk is a miraculous remedy, especially for children and asthma patients. Not only this, the company told the farmers that donkey milk is used in the production of medicines, soaps, creams and many other products. Farmers were lured to sign agreements with the promise of huge profits.

A donkey sold for one lakh

Apart from this, the company also provided fridge, other technology and bottles to store milk. When the farmers union came to know that a company is luring farmers to earn money, then it was investigated. It was found that one lakh rupees was charged from the farmers for a donkey which is available in the market for 20 to 30 thousand rupees. Not only this, after taking money from the farmers, the company absconded from there. After this, the farmers approached the police and lodged a complaint in the matter. In this case, the police has investigated and arrested 3 people including the owner of the company and is investigating.
