On the sixth day of Navratri, people worship Maa Katyayani with a true heart to please Maa Katyayani. For this, they recite Mata Rani and offer her favorite dish to the mother. It is believed that honey and honey-based dishes are offered in this form of Mata Rani. Due to this, today we are going to tell you an easy recipe of kheer made of honey so that Maa Katyayani is pleased with you too.

Ingredients for making kheer
Milk: 1 liter
Rice: 1/4 cup
Honey: 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Almonds, pistachios, cashews: 2-3 tablespoons
Ghee: 1 teaspoon (for roasting dry fruits)

Method
Although sugar is used to make kheer, if you want, you can use honey to make kheer. To make honey kheer, first put the milk to boil in a heavy bottom vessel. When the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame.
Now add soaked rice to it and let it cook on low flame. You have to stir it continuously, otherwise the rice will stick to the bottom of the pan. When the rice is completely cooked and the milk thickens, then add cardamom powder and roasted dry fruits to it.
Finally, add honey to it and mix it well. Note that the flame should be low while adding honey to the kheer. Otherwise, it will not mix properly and the taste of the kheer will be spoilt.

After mixing the honey, cook the kheer on low flame for 5-7 minutes so that all the flavors mix well. Now it is ready. You can enjoy it.
