Send Push

If you are a farmer, then you can benefit by joining many types of schemes run by the state governments and the central government. In some of these schemes, Kisan Credit Cards are given, while under some scheme, financial help is given to the farmers. In this sequence, there is a scheme Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana which is run by the central government.

At present, crores of farmers are associated with this scheme and if you are eligible, then you can also join this scheme and get financial help of Rs 6 thousand every year. This money is given three times a year in installments of Rs 2-2 thousand. So far a total of 18 installments have been released, but during this time there were many farmers whose 18th installment got stuck, so can these farmers still get the stuck 18th installment after a month has passed? So let's try to know the answer to this question. You can know about this in the next slides...

First let's know why the installment is stuck?

If you also join the PM Kisan Yojana, then you have to get some work done to avail the benefit of the installment. The first work in this is to get e-KYC done. If you have not got this work done or your e-KYC is not accepted, then you may be deprived of the benefit of the installment.

Apart from e-KYC, the second work is Aadhar linking, which if the farmer associated with PM Kisan Yojana has not got done, then his installment can also be stuck. In this, the beneficiary has to go to the branch of his bank and get his Aadhar card linked there.

Apart from e-KYC and Aadhar linking, the third work is land verification. The 18th installment of the farmers who have not got this work done can also be stuck. In this, the farmer has to get his land verified and gets the benefit only if everything is found correct.

Can I still get the pending 18th installment?
If you have not received the 18th installment, there can be many reasons behind it. For example, the ones mentioned above include lack of e-KYC, land verification or Aadhaar linking, etc. Therefore, if you get these things done, the state government forwards your name to the central government, after which you can get the benefit of the 18th installment along with the 19th installment.
